YOGA DEN The Yoga Den has a great beach clean-up initiative! If you bring in a jar full of nurdles (small pieces of plastic that have washed up on our shoreline) from the beach, you get a free yoga class! What a deal. This summer, they also launched their SUP Kids Camp. The curriculum focused on teaching kids stand up paddle-boarding, water safety and environmental education. They learned about single-use plastics and more important how to reduce individual usage; then the group went out on the water paddling and collecting garbage. They are already excited for next summer!

GODERICH ZEHRSOur local Zehrs branch here in Goderich is doing some amazing things! The main one being that they supply brown paper bags as an alternative to plastic grocery bags at checkout for the same price. A great option if you forget your reusable bags at home! This Zehrs was also one of the first places to allow reusable bags back during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are forever grateful.
