100 Debates on the Environmentis a national initiative that organized non-partisan all-candidates debates specifically on the environment in 100 ridings across Canada, all on October 3rd. We had an amazing turnout and heard some great ideas. If you were unable to attend (or would like a refresher on what was said), watch the video here.
We had many audience question submissions, we've posted the topics here so our government and community can know what we are concerned about:
Pipeline creation
Meeting the targets in the Paris Accord and Paris Climate Agreement
Encouragement of young entrepreneurs to get into plant-based agriculture
Single-use plastics and plastic pollution mitigation
Solar power
Policies on fracking
Mitigation of melting icecaps
Education around climate change
Working together across parties to tackle climate change
Reduction of transportation emissions and improving public transit
